Why didn't Satmar or MH think of this?

A new system has just been installed in 770 informing if there is a Choson in shul, so you would know if you have to say Tachnun or not.

If you are a Choson during sheva brochos, you are kindly asked to walk up to the umud and choose the amount of time you will be in 770 and the light will remain on till you leave. In an event that you leave earlier you can go and shut it off.

Der Blatt wrote about this a few weeks ago, stating that the fact is Satmar has been using this system from the very beginning. I am not familiar with the Satmar shul, but according to Der Blatt they used a chandelier. However, Der Blatt explains that only by a bris was it necessary to use this system, as a choson in satmar wears a shtriemel there is no need for a chandelier.
