Stunning Sefer Torah Scroll

You are bidding on an authentic Ashkenaz Sefer Torah written in k'sav Ari Zal. It is lightweight and complete Torah Scroll with new mahogany wooden handles and blue velvet mantel with binder. Gold embroidered inion on the mantel, this mantel is not the original, it was later added. The letters are beautiful, large and very dark throughout the entire torah, no cracked or peeling letters. Gorgeous hand written by a highly religious sofer (scribe). The parchment is in great to mint condition, no holes or tears and it is very tightly sewn together. The Sefer Torah is approx. 40-50 years old and was written in Israel. It stayed in a shul in NY until it closed down. The parchment measures 15" high and 12-1/4" high the wording. This Torah is very lightweight and easy to carry.
Perfect for any shul, school, yeshivah, study for bar mitzvah or for Simchat Torah. This Torah is very lightweight therefore it is ideal for elderly too. With purchasing this Torah you can be yoitza with the Mitzvah of K'sivas Sefer Torah. This Torah scroll is Kosher and was inspected by certified scribe. This Sefer Torah is ready to read in.
