> This past Shabbos morning, a family in our community awoke at 6am to the piercing alarm of their carbon monoxide detector. They called 911, and were told to evacuate the house immediately. The fire department arrived several
minutes later and confirmed the presence of high levels of carbon monoxide throughout the house. The source was quickly traced to a malfunction in the home's boiler; the boiler was switched off, the windows were opened, and the carbon monoxide quickly dissipated. Boruch Hashem, the family was saved from harm by the carbon monoxide detector.

another night to pass without having a carbon monoxide detector operational in your home. (Please forward this email to others.)
